Parallel-market rates

For core parallel-market pairs, EXDZ collects available buy and sell observations from independent market sources. The production pipeline checks quote completeness, rejects unavailable inputs, normalizes valid observations and publishes a representative EXDZ value.

Official rates

Official reference observations are stored under source=official. They are never silently blended into the parallel result.

Keeping the two series separate lets consumers present the official context, calculate their own comparisons and avoid implying that one source represents the other.

Transfer quotes

Supported international-transfer observations are exposed under source=transfer. Coverage can vary by asset and date because not every provider or route is available for every currency.

An empty result means no matching record exists for the chosen filters; it does not imply a zero rate.

Gold references

EXDZ stores 24K per-gram DZD references and the corresponding 21K and 18K purity values in one dated record. The API returns all three together so consumers do not join records from different update times.

The response includes the stored source identifier and update time. Values are informational references and do not include dealer premiums, workmanship or retail spreads.

Quality and limitations

  • Market availability and source publication schedules can produce gaps.
  • Broader asset coverage can be derived from validated anchor rates rather than directly observed.
  • Historical corrections may occur when a source record is found to be incomplete or erroneous.
  • Consumers should retain source and updatedAt when storing API results.
  • Financial decisions require independent verification appropriate to the use case.
